PEMBREY TEST WEEKEND  27/28 FEB.

Off to Pembrey with a new teammate for some meetings Lance Mascall is making a comeback in the sot class.First session very wet tiptoe round.Track dries very quickly the rest of the weekend goes very well no issues with bike or rider.

BRANDS HATCH  20/21 MARCH.

For this meeting going up with Paul Riley the sidecar driver i sponsor.Being very busy at work we do not leave until about 7.30 Friday night.As we are going up the A303 a smell of oil is noticed we stop at a service station to find that after topping up his oil he has forgotten to put the cap back on! two litres of oil all over the engine bay.We eventually arrive at Brands about 10.30 just time for a pint and get our heads down.Saturday very wet with a few bsb boys using this meeting as practice,not happy with bike or tyres have a terrible day less said about it the better.Paul has an even worse day with his wheel bearings collapsing lucky not to crash.Sunday is a much better day get to grips with the bike end up with a 23rd place and a reasonable time .Paul has another bad day with alternator problems loosing power

CADWELL PARK 24/25 APRIL

Once again go up with Paul Riley leave at a more sensible time arrive at Cadwell about 10.30 time for a quick pint and sleep.Saturday and sunday have reasonable rides but feel there is a lack of power,no dramas though .Paul has a better weekend than Brands this is the first cadwell he has finished.

PEMBREY 29/30//31 MAY.

For this weekend Lance mascall has made a comeback also i now have a 1060cc engine more power and torque.We decide to test on the Friday as well so four days of riding!Friday testing goes very well bike feels so much better with the extra power.Braking points have now changed.Saturday the qualifier is wet not a good ride Lance ends up ten places ahead of me for the final need to get my head down.Have a better start in the final track is dry with lots of grip,after about four laps i have Lance in my sights  about four places ahead i am catching him fast.Into the last bend right behind him and have him on the line.In the evening do the sponsored run in aid of Mason .Did not realise how long the track is.
